Iranian Minister Visited 2020 ECO Member Tourism Capital

In the third meeting of ECO Members Tourism Ministers, Sari has selected as the 2020 Eco Members Tourism Capital. Consequently, Ali Asqar Mounesan, Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts arrived in Sari to discuss plans to promote Sari’s capacity to get ready for hosting this event. During his visit to Sari, Mounesan took part in the opening ceremony of a hotel in Sari Sea Road and, in company with Sari Mayor, visited museums located in Sari Velayat Garden.

Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts emphasized the importance of the 2020 tourism event to introduce the region to ECO member countries to attract their potential tourists. In his presence, Sari Municipality and Mazandaran Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization signed a memorandum of understanding to boost their cooperation for holding the 2020 event.
